There are so many names for our behind, but what do we really know about it and what do we do about it besides sitting most of the day?? So the glutes is actually comprised of 3 muscles: glutes minius, glutes mediums and glutes maximus. It is crucial to keep our muscles active and strong for just getting up from sitting, climbing stairs and other functions such as extension, abduction and rotation of the hip joints and the knees! So keep your glutes or buttocks or bum or however you call it, active and strong
